Dagestan Officials Raise Death Toll to 19 After Bombings and Shootings

On June 23, 2024, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks left 19 people dead in two cities in southern Russia.

The attacks, which involved rifles, automatic weapons, and Molotov cocktails, targeted synagogues and Orthodox churches in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala.
